Trailer?? Questions about ROTK

I heard that the ROTK trailer will not premiere until late september. I also heard that Grima slits Saurmans throat at Isenguard at the beginning of ROTK. Anybody heard about "The Hobbit" being released in 2 or 3 years. I think that this is the greatest trilogy of all time and I am no nose picking Trekkie. I aslo believe that Aragorn will fight Sauron in the final battle middle earth. The mouth of Sauron is a character with little play in the third book. Also, I believe fans are watering at the mouth for one more look at the physical form of Sauron. I am also interested to see how the scene with Theoden, Merry, Eyown, and King of the Wraiths turns out.

i've seen the new trailer of the hobbit i love it. Do u want to know what happens 2 theoden and merry an pippin? If u dont do not read on. Theoden gets killed merry an pippin are ok eowyn ggets sick from the nazgul so doesmerry  its so sad

Maybe i'm totally out of some kind of loop here but i don't remember reading anything about "the hobbit" being done as a live action movie The only thing i've heard about anyone doing the hobbit is this...
Reporters asked PJ if he was doing the Hobbit and he said if someone approached him to do it he would. Las i heard of that New Line is trying to buy the rights, i may be wrong about that but that's what i've heard. and, Ian McKelem was asked if he would be gandalf if the hobbit project ever happens. well he said yes but he's trying to pressure the powers that be to make the hobbit as a mini-series (made for tv) movie instead. That kind of sucks if you ask me but perhaps hat ould be better. unfortunately made for tv movies don't have nearly the budgets that feature films do.
currently, after the trilogy is done, Extended Editions and all, PJ is slated to do a remake of King Kong for Universal Pictures. How Stupid considering that if he did that it would be the second remake of the original. that sounds like Universal is scratching for ideas and trying to whone-in on peter jackson's success...even if PJ has always wanted to remake it himself, it still seems a bit pointless.
but, if someone has seen a hobbit preview, please send the link...and if it's not PJ and Weta doing the project, we should start a petition against it........FAST
To the originator of this post....no aragorn doesn't fight Sauron...and if Grima does do that at the beginning of ROTK, they're going to have a LOT of angry fans because, not to spoil anything (since you've already given it away), but that doesn't happen untill the last few chapters of the book.
